Piaget takes pride in manufacturing watches with precision and quality. In 1874, Georges-Édouard Piaget at just 19 years old set up a workshop on the family farm to explore his watchmaking passion, and that’s when Piaget came to fruition. His son Timothée eventually grew the business to include collections of luxury wristwatches as well as pocket watches, which were very common at the time. The third generation of Piaget sons, Gérald and Valentin Piaget, were responsible for growing the family business on a global scale transforming it into the brand we all know and love. The first boutique to display Piaget jewelry and watches was in Geneva in 1959. Today Piaget continues to set the bar high, being known especially for ultra-thin timepieces as well as providing collections of high jewelry that evoke a unique sense of elegance and luxury.
